The Orphans who serve up 1970s glam rock straight out of the Noddy Holder cook-book. It's easy to caricature their shampooed carpet hairstyles and songs about bonking in the streets, but beneath their comic exterior lie some gorgeously composed rock epics. Set closer 'California' is particularly genius, evolving as it does from mournful beginnings into T-Recstasy.

The Orphans take their glam stomping rock songs straight out of the Noddy Holder cookbook - and have been building up a fanbase of depraved glitter-fanatics since they arrived on the scene a year ago.
